What's New on the website ?

Here's an overview of the changes that have been introduced to the website since Q3 2010.

  Inventory

The results of the recent Inventory questionnaire partners responded to have been made available online.

    The new "Inventory" menu option contains options for :
  • Reports and Charts: Interface to tabular data
  • Inventory Maps: Graphical representation of inventory data
  • Inventory HR Module capture. In progress, to be completed by 7th April 2011
Both interfaces are still under development and should see continual improvement in the coming weeks.
  Fixes and Changes
Q2 2011 Results Capture form: OVC section
The OVC section has been re-worked based on changes requested by the OVC team.
Changes have been made to both the definitions and to the required capture fields.

    Highlighted changes to be aware of are :
  • Total OVC Served 6 month column
    Semi-annually (Q2) requirement for reporting to OGAC. (becomes a 12-month column in Q4)
  • Child protection - Statutory subset
    A subset of total Child Protection introduced to identify statutory interventions.
  • Psychological care definition and table change.
    New field for total households receiving care.
    Split off into its own table/segment.
  • Educational support re-worked.
    Removed the "Attending School" column.
    Semi-annually (Q2), introduced capture of support for the Previous Year.
    Changed the level progression to refer to those receiving support in the Previous Year.
  • Household Economic Strengthening.
    Added capture of Total Households and Households receiving HES interventions.
    Introduced disaggregation as per other segments of the OVC section
Menu System
The main menu system has been improved and streamlined to address occasional loading errors.
Migration of pages to the new system is currently underway

    Other changes in conjunction with the menu update are :
  • System heading name change to "PEPFAR Reporting System" as it now contains data from both the Data Warehouse and the Inventory
  • Splash Page renamed to "Logged-In page" as a result of feedback received
  • Bookmarks function removed
  • Logout moved from the main menu to an entry on the "logged in as" menu option
